MEET THE TEAM
Claudia and Fumie worked at a local force-free training school for several years prior to Happy Fido Company. Employing force-free and science-based training methods, they taught a variety of groups classes including good manners, puppy socialization, reactive dogs class (e.g. indoor class, outdoor class), recreational agility (e.g. beginner, intermediate), nose work, and more! They also provided private training and behaviour consultation for customized manners and puppy training, generalized anxiety, leash reactivity, fearful behaviours, and aggression (including dog-to-dog, dog-to-human, resource guarding, and handling issues).

Claudia has over 5 years of experience as a canine professional. She is a graduate of Dogsafe Canine Frist Aid, and currently working towards her qualification for Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Claudia is bilingual in French and English.

Fumie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is also an animal Reiki practitioner (certified by Usui Ryoho Reiki), as well as a graduate of Aggression in Dogs Master Course (Michael Shikashio, CDBC), Puppy Start Right for Instructors (Karen Pryor Academy), and Dogsafe Canine Frist Aid. She has over 7 years of experience as a canine professional. Fumie is fluent in Japanese as well.
